Cozumel 2-Tank Boat Dives: Max Bottom Time & Small Groups

Daily Departures from Marina ASIPONA (9:00 AM & 2:00 PM)

Dive Cozumel’s iconic Marine Park reefs aboard Cha-Kay, our fast twin-engine custom boat. We reach southern walls like Palancar and Santa Rosa in under 15 minutes. Enjoy max 6:1 diver-to-guide ratios, full computer-limit or 700 psi bottom times, and freshly prepared local surface interval lunches.

Why Choose Blue Note Scuba for Your 2-Tank Dive?

Most shops in Cozumel watch the clock. We watch the reef. At Blue Note, we believe your dive shouldn’t end just because a timer went off. We stay down until you hit 700 psi or reach your computer’s NDL limit.

1. Personalized Diving Experience At Blue Note Scuba, we cater to divers of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just getting started, our experienced guides will tailor the dive to your skill level and preferences. We prioritize your safety and enjoyment, ensuring a relaxed and stress-free diving experience.

2. Small Groups by Design: We never exceed a 6:1 diver-to-guide ratio. This means more eyes on the Splendid Toadfish and diving with groups of similar diving levels.

3. Convenient Dive Schedules Our 2-tank dive trips depart twice daily from Marina ASIPONA (Fonatur) at 9 AM and 2 PM.  If you are arriving by ferry from Playa del Carmen please let us know and we will adjust our morning departure to 9:30am so you can make the dives. We offer flexible pick-up options from most hotel piers south of the marina, making it easy for you to join us for a day of underwater exploration.

4. No Rush Diving With Blue Note Scuba, you can dive at your own pace. We don’t limit your bottom time—dive until your tank reaches 700 psi or when you reach your computers NDL limit, then make a safety stop with your dive buddy.  Our Divemasters will stay down with the divers until the last one is ready to surface. Enjoy the freedom to fully immerse yourself in the underwater world.

5. The “Cha-Kay” Advantage:  Our boat is one of the fastest in the Cozumel. While others spend 45 minutes motoring south, we get you to the best Cozumel Dive Sites in under 15 minutes. Our boat Cha-Kay has shade for sun protection, a bathroom and change-room on board. We provide high-quality gear and take care of all the setup and rinsing (with your consent), so you can focus on the dive.

6. Delicious Onboard Lunch For our morning dive trips, we serve a full lunch onboard, including sandwiches, water, fresh fruit, snacks, and homemade pico de gallo and guacamole. It’s the perfect way to refuel between dives and enjoy the best dive boat lunch in Cozumel.

7. ECO Conscious Diving: We are proud to be a PADI 5-Star Eco Center and hold ourselves to a higher standard on sustainability and reef safe diving practices.

What to Expect: Your Morning or Afternoon Adventure

Check-In & Departure
Meet your Blue Note Scuba crew at Cozumel Marina ASIPONA and get settled on our spacious dive boat. After a quick briefing and gear setup, we’ll head out to the reefs. Are you staying at a hotel in the South with a pier? Let us know and we may be able to pick you up right at the dock.

The First Dive: The Walls
We usually head to the dramatic drop-offs of the south, such as Palancar Bricks or Santa Rosa Wall. Expect depths of 60–80 feet, vibrant sponges, and the feeling of flight as the current carries you along the wall.

The Surface Interval: Refuel Like a Local
We don’t just serve "dry crackers." Our morning trips include a fresh, homemade lunch featuring our signature pico de gallo and guacamole. Relax under the shade of the Cha-Kay, swap stories, and enjoy the turquoise views.

The Second Dive: The Inner Reefs
For the second tank, we move to shallower, light-filled reefs (40–50 feet) like Cedral or Yucab. These sites are teeming with green turtles, nurse sharks, and massive green moray eels.

Return to Marina
After surfacing, enjoy a relaxing ride back to shore with plenty of time to soak up the Caribbean sun and reflect on your dive adventure. If you are diving with us for more that 1 day enjoy our full valet service. We will be happy to rinse, store and set up your gear for the next day of diving.

Explore Cozumel’s Best Dive Sites

Cozumel is renowned for its diverse marine life and vibrant coral reefs. The dive sites are chosen each day by diver request and weather conditions. Normally we will do the first dive at a wall site and the second dive along an inner reef. Our guides will do there best to take you to the best dive sites based on your requests and experience level.  From colorful coral gardens to thrilling drift dives, there’s something for every diver to enjoy.
