To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. 1-Tank Shore Discover Scuba Dive
If this is your first ever dive we highly suggest the 1-tank Try Dive Cozumel from our shore training site. We meet at Tikila Beach Bar Cozumel where all the beginner dive training takes place. From here you will experience your first breaths underwater in a very controlled shallow bay. This location features the coral reef restoration project, statutes of Jacques Cousteau statutes, lots of reef fish and colorful coral.

2-Tank Discover Scuba by Boat
If you dove before but do not have a certification then the 2-tank Discover Scuba Cozumel is for you. We meet at Cozumel Marina ASIPONA Fonatur at 1:40pm for our afternoon trip. Our PADI Instructor will meet you in the marina at the waiting area next to the drug store. While the boat departs to the dive sites you will learn about the equipment, safety and skills to be practiced. You will practice scuba skills in a shallow area before descending on the first of 2 dives within the Cozumel Marine Park.

Our Discover Scuba Cozumel is more than most, this is a 1 or 2-dive program here in Cozumel. You start with a quick eLearning link Discover Scuba Online to review basic dive skills and theory. Once in Cozumel you learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. After a review and skill practice your PADI instructor will guide you to a reef for your first dive.
