Exploration aboard the Galileo
Exploration dives in Cozumel are mostly drift dives in the current accessible to all levels. However, if you have not dived in a long time, a “readjustment” dive will have to be made, to regain confidence, and to permit your instructor to characterize your profile and to procure comfortable conditions and optimal security.
Generally departures are at 09:30 am from the port, to permit 2 consecutive dives on two complimentary sites.

Night dives.

Night dives in Cozumel, is certainly one of the most fascinating aspects of diving. There are multiple good reasons to be interested in night dives. The natural curiosity, because we want to experience, observe sea and plant life are particularly interesting at night, it is possible to see certain species of fish, that only feed at night. Watching fish sleep is particularly interesting.

Deep dives

Exclusively reserved for level 3 CMAS or rescue divers with decompression dive experience, deep dives in Cozumel, are done on the sites of Maracaibo/Punta Sur or on the north part of the island in the winter months, to see eagle rays. We often see different types of sharks. These dives are reserved for hardened divers, also the reef is very rich and completely unused. Enormous barrel sponges, decent size angel and parrot fish will be systematically seen. These dives are made with 15 litre bottles for obvious security reasons.

Cenote dives

The Yucatan is also known for its Cenote dives, underground caves filled with fresh water filtered par corals. BLUE NOTE offers you a daily departure from Cozumel to discover these particular and fascinating sites.

Dives in Playa del Carmen

If you wish to dive in Playa del Carmen, BLUE NOTE offers a departure from Cozumel for a day, and a 2 dives package with our specially selected partner centre.

Dives for children

Children can dive with BLUE NOTE, in optimal reliable conditions and security with adapted ergonomic equipment. Every demand is examined carefully beforehand and is responded in a personal manner. Snorkelling

The Galileo Dive Boat is equipped with Oxygen, a first aid kit, and a telephone if the case needs urgent intervention.
